Circle
THE CIRCLE is an exclusive group, established to provide a philanthropic vehicle for individuals to delight in the visual splendour housed within one of Canada’s architectural landmarks.
There are five degrees of fellowship in The Circle Programme:
- Curator’s Circle: $1,000 to $2,499
- Director’s Circle: $2,500 to $4,999
- Council's Circle: $5,000 to $9,999
- Chair’s Circle: $10,000 and above
- Legacy Circle: Bequests and other deferred gifts
Circle patrons enjoy special privileges and share in the knowledge that their generous contributions are directed specifically to the special projects and programmes that the Gallery promotes throughout the year.
Thanks to the generous support of Circle patrons, the following special projects have been realized:
- The acquisition of an historically appropriate period frame for Salviati’s Virgin and Child with and Angel
- The acquisition of Onontaha by Marc-Aurèle de Foy Suzor-Côté
- The restoration of Bartolomeo Montagna’s St. Jerome in Penitence
- The exhibition Elusive Paradise: The Millenium Prize
- The special publication of The Review–A tribute to Jean Sutherland Boggs
- The acquisition of the Italian drawing, A Youth Leading a Donkey in a landscape, 1535, by Parmigianino
- The refurbishing of the Baroque Gallery
- The acquisition of Forest Landscape by Emily Carr
