inconnu

Herman Naiwincx is renowned for his work as an etcher primarily thanks to his series of landscapes published in Amsterdam, of which the first four are exhibited here. The sixteen etchings depict rolling hills and reveal the influence of Italianate trends on Dutch landscape imagery.
